KiddieRail fits most straight staircases, including those with 90° or 180° turns. The standard kit covers stairs up to 3.4 metres. Unfortunately, it's not suitable for spiral or winding staircases due to the solid aluminium construction.
From when your child starts walking until they can comfortably reach the adult handrail — typically up to around age 5, though this depends on their height. Because it's fully adjustable, one KiddieRail grows with them.
Most parents complete installation in under an hour. You'll need a drill, screwdrivers, tape measure, and pencil. A spirit level and alignment string are included in every kit.
Yes! As your child grows taller, simply loosen the bracket screws, slide the rail up to their new elbow height, and retighten. No new parts needed — one KiddieRail lasts for years.
